Matthew Cole Weiss
Matthew Cole Weiss, a Philly native, graduated NYU Film School in 2001 armed with his multiple award-winning short film “Mean People Suck” starring James Franco, Eric Christian Olsen, Dominique Swain, and Beverley Mitchell.
This short led to his first feature as director, the Weinstein Company’s “Standing Still” which starred Amy Adams, James Van Der Beek, Colin Hanks, and Mena Suvari. He then went on to direct “Deceit” starring Emmanuelle Chriqui, “A Date with Diana” starring Maggie Lawson, and “The HOA” starring Horatio Sanz and Cheri Oteri.
For nine years, Weiss has been a senior writer/producer/on camera personality on “TMZ TV” and helped brand and launch the television show. Weiss is also a noted journalist with articles published in The New York Times, Maxim, US Weekly, Life & Style, Time Out, People, Details, and many other outlets. Matthew currently writes for People Magazine, Details Magazine.
Theo Von, a Louisiana native, can be seen in his very own Netflix original comedy special titled, NO OFFENSE currently streaming (netflix.com/TheoVon). Previously, Theo was the host of TBS’s hidden camera show “Deal With It” from EP Howie Mandel, which ran for three seasons. He also hosted Yahoo’s popular daily recap show “Primetime in No Time” – one of the most-watched shows on the web with nearly one million views per day. Recently, Theo made appearances on @Midnight, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER and WHY? WITH HANNIBAL BURESS.
Theo is the genius behind CrankTexts.com, a website where he texts random numbers and gets into conversations with total strangers. CrankTexts was a weekly featured column on College Humor, and has had 10 million page views,
